Jean is the owner of Human Resources Simplified, a Florida human resources consulting, training and facilitating company, with the motto: helping businesses do more with less. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rowan University, where she majored in Psychology with a Human Resources concentration. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Argosy University, with a concentration in Human Resources.

She received recognition as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute, by virtue of extensive experience and passing a comprehensive examination and was later granted lifetime certification. She was later awarded certification as a Certified Business Manager by the APBM.
